NVH has become an important module of successful automotive engineering. A vehicle sound is a unique selling point, it differentiates one vehicle from the other. Therefore the design of vehicle acoustics comes to the fore. This includes not only the elimination of unwanted noise like wind noise or engine noise but also the creation of desirable sounds. Particularly with regard to the design and development of hybrid and electrical vehicles acoustics has to be redesigned.
